is the eighth in the biennial PRICAI series of conferences that
have become the premier Artificial Intelligence conferences
in the Asia-Pacific region.
for the conference will be by peer reviews and by an independent
international program committee headed by Program co-chairs
Professor Chengqi Zhang and Professor Hans Guesgen. An independent
program committee ensures the selection of high quality papers
for presentation at the conference. Eminent researchers from
the Pacific Region and internationally will be invited by the
program committee of PRICAI to deliver keynote addresses. Special
workshops and tutorials will be organised prior to the main
conference and a new doctoral forum will be introduced to encourage
stronger students' participation.
to the above, the organisers of PRICAI-04 also promise to turn
this conference into an exciting event where researchers not
only meet to discuss about their work but also to get to know
each other better. Extra special events (possibilities include
a special evening dinner-for-ten, lunch on one tree hill and
NZ wine tasting) will be organised to encourage such get-togethers.
