At this sensational event, the PRICAI 04 committees invite you to the PRICAI Kiwiana Dinner. This event will take place on the Thursday evening (12th August) at the Sheraton Auckland.

The Conference Dinner is a high-point of any PRICAI conference - a time to relax and make new friends. At PRICAI 2004, we create a place to enjoy nature kiwiana environment for your


evening of fine food and entertainment. This provides a taste of a mystical forest atmosphere with some tradition large maori carving displays and Maori performance. A Deluxe 3 course Menus and free drink of first three hours will be provided.

Please note that the dinner is heavily subsidised.

You need to indicate on your Registration Form if you intend to come to the conference dinner, as the hotel can only accommodate a very few changes to conference dinner numbers once the conference has started. Please also let us know any specific dietary requirements you may have.

PRICAI-04 will be held at the Sheraton Auckland Hotel in Auckland. Sheraton Auckland Hotel is located in the city central, a few kilometres from the Auckland International airport and 5-10 min walk from Auckland Town Hall.

Auckland International Airport, located 25km southwest of the city central, is open 24 hours a day and handles both international and domestic flights. Airbus Airport Coach Service provides a regular service to and from the airport with a transfer time of 20 minutes & after 6pm every 30 minutes. Taxis and shuttle buses licensed to operate from the Airport carry a guarantee of value and service. The Airport to City taxi fare is approximately NZ$40 and take approximately 40 minutes.

Airbus starts its journey from the Airport and stops first at the Sheraton. The last stop of the Airbus is at Sheraton then it goes to the Airport.

Smart casual clothes are suitable for all sessions. The weather during August in Auckland is unpredictable. Days should be cool and sunny with the occasional shower. Temperatures of 12° C - 17° C can be expected during the day although evenings can be cooler. As Auckland has a maritime climate, a jacket and umbrella are recommended.

All rates offered throughout this proposal are in New Zealand Dollars and should therefore be paid in New Zealand Dollars. If payment is made in a foreign currency, the exchange rate calculated will be the AUT's exchange rate on the date of receipt.
